It started as a beautiful morning when Tom invited me to go for a picnic at the beach. The weather today was so pretty sweet as the sky was blue and the sun shine brightly.Tom and i have been in relationship for about seven month and we will having our 8th anniversary soon. Tom is a sweet guy with brown eyes, thick eyebrows and cute smile. Although Tom is younger than me, but i never care about the matter of age. As long as we are happy together, it is worth.
Tom is a 18-years-old guy, and i am twenty.I am always the one who act as big sister and take care of him. Tom and i have a steady relationship and i hope we will maintain our love until the day we married. Well, it is just my own imagination. It is still a long way for us to go. No matter how, I will try my best to make our relationship better.
It was 8am in the morning. Tom promised to fetch me about 12am in the afternoon. I was responsible to prepare all the foods for the picnic today. So, I baked a chocolate cake which is Tom favourite. It is not hard for me to bake a cake as I have attend cooking class for about two month ago.After that, I prepared some sandwiches and fruits. After finished prepare all the foods, it was already 11am. I quickly cleaned myself and ready for the date today. Yes, i can't wait for it! I hope today will be a nice day for me and him.
Around 11.50am, Tom arrived and waited me outside my house. I quickly ran down and went in the car. I don't want him to wait me for so long.
“Hey dear,sorry for my late." I apologised.
"It's okay". He killed me with his smile again.
We started our trip to beach after that. Somehow I think that I am not a good girl for him. I am a hot-tempered girl and easily get angry. But Tom never tired to comfort me and give a lot of patience on me. How lucky I am to have a boyfriend like him. I smiled myself.
When we arrived, I was so shocked to see the beach fulled with people. It was Saturday! No wonder everyone came to relax themselves. Tom took everything that I had prepared and he bought a mat for us to sit on. As there was fulled with people, it was very hard to find a place. After 15 minutes, we saw a place under a shady tree. We quickly went there to take the place and Tom put on the mat.
After settled all the stuff, we started our picnic. He took the cake that I baked this morning. He loved it and ate a lot. We were having a good times picnic there. About 30 minutes later, we finished all the food and planned to have a walk at the sea shore.
While we packing all our stuff, suddenly the sky became dark and it looked like going to rain! We quickly packed the things as fast as we could but the rain came faster than us! I can see everyone running here and there because no one expect the weather will change! Tom hold my hand and took me to go to the car before it rains more heavily.
We quickly ran and reached the car. However, all of our body were wet and we looked so stupid! I blamed the rain as I really want for this date but everything spoiled! Tom comforted me and apologised for this incident. I smiled and said that it was okay.We laughed together after seeing how stupid we looked like. We ended our day earlier. Tom promised me that he will bring me for a picnic again one day. I thanked him for sending me back. Today is really an unforgettable trip that i ever had!
